This week for Tasty Tuesday, we’re twisting it a little bit and making something that you can use as a learning activity for your kids as well, and is completely safe for them to taste.
With all the rain and miserable weather we’ve had lately, I needed something to keep my older 3 kids occupied for some time. Insert Edible Play Dough! I really don’t like regular playdough. The smell, it getting stuck to everything and tracked through the house, I really just don’t like it. Edible play dough was different! It was fun, molded very well, and smelled great!
First off, note that this recipe includes peanut butter. I definitely don’t recommend it if you have peanut allergy!

To make the Edible Play Dough, gather the following ingredients into a bowl:
*1 cup peanut butter
*1/2 cup honey
*2 cups powdered sugar
Combine together and mix. I recommend spraying the measuring cup with pam so the peanut butter and honey slides right on out. It will end up as a large ball of dough!

Separate into smaller sections if needed and PLAY! We used wax paper as a barrier between the dough and our table and it worked great!

Kids had a blast! When you’re done, put the dough in a baggie to save for later! I personally didn’t try the dough, but I know my 2 year old did! She liked it!
