I grew up listening to Adventures in Odyssey and loved hearing all the stories about what happened in Odyssey. My kids also have grown up loving these audiodramas. We were recently sent their newest album, The Eleventh Hour. We listened to this album on the way to the mountains to see the fall leaves. It helped pass the time and we loved the stores.
In these episodes the clock is ticking for Jules Kendall and Mr. Whittaker. Will Jules risk lying to get even with a rival? Can Whit and his team complete their secret mission? At the heart of it all, characters wrestle wit the age-old question- why would a good God allow bad things to happen?
Although this album says it is for kids ages 7 and up, I would say that these episodes seemed a bit heavy and more geared toward preteens and older based on their storylines. Nothing was bad, just a little bit deeper topics than smaller children could relate and the kids in the stories were mostly high school age. My 10 and 16 year olds listened with me and enjoyed it.
