Happy New Year everyone! We let the kids stay up late, watched movies, and had a nice family time. I think everyone finally fell asleep around 2 AM, but it was worth it. Now we are back to our homeschool and regular routines, only with dad still at home.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I really like things that ship right to my house so I don’t have to make special trips to stores I don’t often visit. My husband recently built an outdoor movie screen stand for our outdoor projector. Our screen is 100 inches in size. It only took a simple trip to the hardware shop to get ours up and running.

For your first assembly of this outdoor movie screen stand, we recommend using two people until you get the hang of how to assemble the stand.
Since all pieces are removable, you can collapse this stand easily for storage and reassemble whenever needed. We’ve even taken it to my brother’s house for a movie night.

We had such a lovely, low-key Christmas. It was perfect and so needed. The kids all had a great time and we enjoyed watching them open their gifts and being lazy with movies all day. This week I plan to do a lot of deep cleaning and organizing. We may end up taking an extra week off of school so I can get more done. So ready to clean out some cabinets and under the sinks!
