Happy Monday! We had an interesting weekend. This was supposed to be my husband’s work weekend, but instead he took a trip to urgent care for a torn or injured distal bicep tendon. It was a ridiculous injury where my husband and I collided after we turned off the lights to go to bed and our eyes were adjusting. Crazy, huh? He’s out of work for a bit, so this should be an interesting season for us. Monday, monday. Already. It was a gorgeous weekend and we enjoyed the beautiful weather and having our windows open. On Saturday my hubby and our youngest went for a hike out at the botanical gardens. The rest of us had various things going on and then went to the Athens Laser Show. That was fun and I hope they come back again! It was great to tailgate with friends outside and watch a fun show.

The week ahead brings my oldest son turning 14! We plan to go ride horses to celebrate his birthday and take the day off from school. Hooray for no school! Here’s our meal plan for the week:
