Halloween is set to be here in just days! We love giving sweet treats to our friends during the holidays. Dixie Crystals has a fun recipe for Cinnamon Sugar Popcorn on their website that we wanted to give a try.
For starters, we popped up a batch of popcorn. We used our microwave air popper, but you could easily pop your popcorn in a paper bag.
Once your popcorn is popped, pour melted butter over the top and mix well. While it’s still moist, sprinkle generously with Dixie Crystals Cinnamon Sugar Shaker.
To make the treat bags, my kids folded a piece of construction paper in half and then drew a pumpkin and an apple.
Then they cut out the pattern and we hole-punched along the outside edge. You can now decorate the paper sack with stickers, markers, or however you wish.
The kids then sewed up the paper sacks with yarn. A couple holes before the end, stop and stuff your paper sack with your yummy cinnamon sugar popcorn and then finish off the sewing.
Now just share with a friend and enjoy! Simply tear into your bag to get to the popcorn.
