Most of us have heard the popular song, I Can Only Imagine. It’s been so popular that it’s now becoming a movie and will be in theaters starting March 16th, 2018! I am so excited to see this with my husband, and I think we may take the older 2 kids as well. I love hearing about testimonies and how people have changed and become who they are.
Amazingly, the song was written in mere minutes by MercyMe lead singer Bart Millard. In reality, those lyrics took a lifetime to craft. Although he found faith at a young age, life wasn’t easy for Bart. He leaned into an active imagination and his love of music as escapes from a troubled home life. As he grew older, Bart turned to football in hopes of somehow connecting with his abusive father. But a career-ending injury—combined with the vision of a teacher who saw unlimited potential—set Bart on a musical pathway.
Chasing a dream while running from broken relationships with father and Shannon, his childhood sweetheart, Bart hits the road on an old, decrepit tour bus with his new band MercyMe—named for his grandmother’s favorite expression. With the guidance of a grizzled music-industry insider, the band begins a journey none of them could ever have imagined.
I CAN ONLY IMAGINE stars J. Michael Finley, Madeline Carroll, Trace Adkins, Priscilla C. Shirer, with Cloris Leachman and Dennis Quaid. For a full list of participating theaters, please click here.

I imagine to be peaceful, vibrant (in colors), and free from temptation or strife.
I cannot wait to see this movie. My daughter is already begging me to take her! ?
Tara S says
I imagine Heaven to be filled with my loved ones who have gone on before me and who were saved by the blood of Jesus Christ. I, for one, cannot wait to see my Daddy and my brother, Ben, again there. I feel that it will be free of stress and full of peace. There will be no hate, no jealousy, no comparisons, no fear….imagine NO fear! I love my family and my life here on Earth, but just imagine Heaven and how it will feel to have no fear! I’ve survived cancer. I will NEVER fear cancer again when I’m there. My son has an autoimmune disease that will be GONE when he’s there. For now, I can only imagine!
