We had a great weekend. It was time for the Missions Conference at our church and we had a speaker who was a missionary in Africa. His stories about how God is at work in Africa are absolutely amazing! One of my children have expressed the desire to go on a mission trip or even be a missionary, so we made it a point to attend. The missionary that visited, Paul Chinchen, gave my children a book that his parents wrote called The Yankee Officer and the Southern Belle, talking about their call to Africa. My kids are already devouring this book and I plan to order another one he mentioned called Kisses from Katie, about another missionary and what she wrote about her experiences. I’m so excited to find out more and see how it develops the desire for mission work in my child.
After a great weekend, it’s good to get back in the groove on things with my meal planning. I hope yall aren’t bored with reading these. Here’s what I’m making this week:
Monday: Good Grub from the THT cookbook – p. 64
Tuesday: Meatball Parmesan Casserole , salad
Wednesday: Pizza
Thursday: Leftovers
Friday: Steak, veggies
Saturday: Black bean burritos
Sunday: Pancakes, fruit, sausage
What are you making this week?

Kisses from Katie is a great book and she also wrote one called Daring to Hope that I would recommend.
