Last night some friends and I went out to dinner and discussed homeschool stuff. One thing that come up was how to handle the physical education requirements as homeschoolers. In Georgia, we are required to have a semester of PE, which works out to be 60 hours. One mom, who has had several kids graduate already, explained how she fulfilled this requirement. She had her children keep a physical activity log. I googled and couldn’t find something that I liked to keep records so I had my sister-in-law come up with something for us.
I wanted it to just list the date, workout, time length, and notes. She came up with something that works perfectly to record activities for our high school requirements. You can click on the Physical Activity logs below to print:
Since we have a 10th grader, we definitely need to get moving on the physical education graduation requirement. Things we are recording for her PE credit requirement are the tennis lessons that she is currently taking, trips to the roller skating rink, walks, workouts in the basements, dance, etc. With the printable activity log, we can keep track and the hours will add up quickly!
