We have been homeschooling ever since we had our oldest child nearly 19 years ago.  It definitely wasn’t something I planned to do, it just happened. The Homeschool Awakening is in theaters June 13 &14!  I got a preview of it and I found it very informative for anyone considering homeschooling.  As a veteran homeschooling mom, I also found it interesting hearing from other homeschooling parents of why they chose the route they did and how they homeschool their kids. There isn’t a simple “one size fits all” with homeschooling.

When my kids were younger, I took them often to the summer kids movies.  It’s been a few years, but I think we will be heading to a few of these.  It’s always fun to watch movies on the big screen.  This summer, University 16 Cinemas has a line of up movies for the kids.  Admission is $2, Popcorn is $2, and Drinks are $2.  These shows can be seen on Tuesdays and Thursdays in June and July.  Doors open at 9:15 AM and movie starts promptly at 10:00 AM.
