We were recently sent the devotional, ROAR LIKE A LION to check out with our family.  The first thing I noticed is how beautiful the illustrations are, including the amazing cover.  It definitely caught our attention.

Inside are 90 devotions to a courageous faith.  The key points it builds on are having courage to try something new, holding on to hope when life is hard or painful, discovering boldness in talking about your faith, and standing out for who you are in Jesus.

We’ve been reading these with my 6 year old son and he seems to really understand the concepts.  For example on Day 5, it talks about a lion stalking his prey and how the devil is like a lion.  It brings everything back to Jesus with verses and interesting “Did you know?” facts.  It ends with a simple prayer.

In addition to the book, you can find other free resources to go along with it like the Downloadable Parent Guide.
