Athens: Epps Bridge Kroger Coupon Policy

Reader Sara was able to get a copy of the infamous new coupon policy at the Epps Bridge Kroger in Athens, GA.  Here it is in all of it’s glory.  Click on the photo to enlarge it.

One things to notice – Limit 2 printable coupons per manufacturer.  Bummer.  I do understand though, especially with all of the coupon fraud that is going on :-(

Thanks so much Sara for getting a copy of this!

  1. I don’t get the “Couponed items will not be sold to dealers”. What does that mean?

  2. I am guessing that is their way to say you can’t buy 100 of the same item and use 100 coupons to get them

  3. Right, not selling to someone that they suspect to be reselling. I’m guessing they leave that to the manager’s discretion.

  4. Ok so I’m new to couponing and this is getting very confusing. I have a few questions that I hope someone can help me with…so please correct me if I’m wrong…when it says one coupon per item that means that we can no longer stack coupons and that we can literally only use ONE coupon per item?
And Epps. Bridge kroger doubles coupons up to .50…does that mean that if I have a .50 off coupon it will double to $1.00 and if I have a .25 off coupon it will double to .50 off? But if I have a .75 off coupon it will remain a .75 off coupon and not double?
Sorry if it sounds redundant, but I need some clarification lol
    Thank you!

    • Hi Lauren. You are correct on the double coupons. Any coupon up to a $.50 value will double. If it says one coupon per item, then yes, only one coupon. However Publix policy allows for stacking coupons, Kroger does not allow it.

  5. I wonder if the “one cp/item” applies if you have a store & a mfr for the same item. Anyone know?

I have to say that this is disappointing. Not b/c I am a huge couponer, I do the electronic ones and the Sunday inserts. I don’t usually print unless it is several dollars off b/c my ink cartridges are too expensive. However, I have been loading all electronic coupons if it is an item I use. No longer will it be a good idea to do this b/c usually the electronics are repeated in Sunday’s mailers and the electronics will not double whereas one you clip will.

I am planning a big trip this wk b/c I have a $10/$100. If I get to the register and they refuse any of my clipped coupons b/c of an already pre-loaded electronic one, I’ll leave the cart there and go to either Alps or Jefferson.

If everyone did that a time or 2, I bet they would change their policy back.
