I’ve seen such cute driveway art lately and I’ve noticed the hashtag #ChalkYourWalk is trending with families. The idea is to create a design for your driveway that will encourage and uplift others.  The kids and I dug out the chalk and went to work!  We were hoping to do a better mosaic design but we quickly were running out of chalk.  I will show you how we did our design though!

For starters, we pulled out painter’s tape.  My oldest got to work making a rectangle and then randomly adding more tape to create design areas.

From there, the younger kids each got a piece of chalk and randomly colored in the shapes.  After it’s filled in, simply pull up the painter’s tape for a fun design!  Note that it will use a LOT of chalk, but it was fun!  I hope it brings some brightness to someone in this challenging season.
