Six Flags HallowFest: Gourd you loins, Six Flags is hosting a frightfully thrilling time at HALLOWFEST this year and we’re inviting you to get batty with us. Our haunted experiences are happening every weekend (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays) now through November 1, so mark your calendars (if you dare) for the spookiest season of the year!

Curbside Trick or Treat at Lowes: Must pre-register. Includes treats and a free kid-sized Pumpkin.
Drive-Thru Boo: Celebrate Halloween with a socially-distanced, ghoulish time! Join us at a “Drive Thru Boo” at one of three locations in Athens – East Athens Educational Dance Center, Lay Park, or Memorial Park! Drive through a specially designed Halloween area, pick up a sanitized goody bag (while supplies last!), and have a frighteningly good time. Costumes appreciated but not required. This is a free event and no registration is required. For more information, please call 706-613-3800.
Movies by Moonlight: Drive in: Celebrate Halloween with a Drive In Movie showing of family favorite “Hocus Pocus” on Friday, October 23 at Georgia Square Mall in the JC Penney parking lot. This event is FREE, but a ticket is required for each vehicle as space is limited. Tickets are available from Saturday, Oct. 10 at 9 a.m. until Oct. 22 at 11:59 p.m., or until the event is sold out. You must present a receipt to attend the event. Tickets will not be available on the night of the event. One ticket per vehicle is required.
Train or Treat: Come celebrate Halloween at the Southeastern Railway Museum! This year’s event will be hosted where everyone is expected to wear masks and maintain social distances between family groups. There will be tables with sponsors handing out candy, a mask/costume contest and music. There will NOT be apple cider or other refreshments.
No Tricks, Our Treat: Hosted by International Bar and Grill -Kids in Costumes eat free and will get a goodie bag. Valid for kids 10 & under on kids menu only. 1 kids entree with an adult entree purchase.Dine-in only.
One Spooky Craft Bag: Starting Monday, October 26th, pick up your free tote bag of Halloween surprises through curbside pickup at the Athens Library, or in the Children’s Department during our Grab-and-Go hours! Each bag contains fun Halloween activities, non-edible Trick-or-Treat prizes, a collectible button, vintage crafts and coloring sheets! Grab one for each of your children, while supplies last.
Drive-Thru Trick or Treat – Watkinsville: Come trick or treat with the merchants of downtown Watkinsville!! October 30, 4:30 till 6:30
It will be a drive through around rocket field! Drive through only! No walk up.
Drive-Through Trunk or Treat – Oconee Music: Oconee Music has partnered with Brella Studios and Oconee Preschool Academy to bring you a family fun and socially distanced community trunk or treat! Grab your costumes and join us as we welcome the holiday spirit with yummy treats and allergy friendly surprises!
Trunk or Treat with ACCPD and Clark Co Sheriff’s Office: Trunk or Treat returns! CDC guidelines will be strictly enforced to help keep all our special ghouls and ghosts safe! Face masks are required and social distancing will be enforced.
Pumpkin Carving Contest at J&J Flea Market: Join in on all of the spooky (socially distanced) fun with this year’s Pumpkin Carving Contest at J&J Flea Market. All pumpkins must be carved before arriving at the flea market, there will be no carving at J&J Flea Market. The contest display table will open inside of Stuffed at 8am. Voting is open to shoppers once your pumpkin is on the display table. Voting will be monitored by J&J staff. Voting will be done at 2pm, and the winner will be announced directly after counting! Prize TBA. We will not be doing our normal trick-or-treating this year at the market, but we are looking forward to trick or treating next year!
Foxfire Woods and Farm: Tickets and pre-registration required. Come out on Halloween for a safe afternoon of trick-or-treating at the farm! Wear your favorite farm animal…or superhero…or whatever costume you choose – and enjoy a casual afternoon walking the farm. Staff will be on-site to answer questions and provide candy to children who attend. Arrive at 2:30 and enjoy the farm until 6:00. Feel free to bring a picnic and enjoy family time under our pavilion.
Grove Chapel Church: Come enjoy a 10 acre Trunk or Treat Hayride!!! Event is outside and all attempts will be made to observe social distancing guidelines. We are starting this event at 5pm and running till 7pm. We will have hotdogs, chips and drinks. We look forward to see everyone!
