It was a great weekend! We celebrated my son’s 10th birthday, but more important than that, we got great news from his doctor! 6 years ago, he was diagnosed with a soy allergy and was super sick. We had his blood tested again this past week and found out that he has outgrown his allergy! What great news! His first food was Red Lobster biscuits because he has always wanted to try them! Mama can’t make them quite like RL. He loved it! He also tried his very first Twix bar. He’s really enjoying being able to eat what everyone else is eating without fear of getting sick. We are thrilled with this news! The photo above is his face after I told him the great news!
This week, we are going to go to a few fall festivals and activities and hopefully end the week in the mountains again.

Tuesday: Steak, zucchini, salad
Wednesday: Southwest Chicken in the Crockpot
Thursday: Meatball Parmesan Casserole, salad
Friday: burgers, broccoli
Saturday: Omelettes or leftovers
Sunday: BBQ Sandwiches, beans, chips
