Books of the Bible at a Glance

To be honest, I get really confused at times when I’m reading my Bible and trying to piece everything together.  I often struggle to remember who wrote what and when.  I’ve been using the  Book-By-Book Bible Printables from Teach Sunday School to better understand the Bible as a whole.  I didn’t grow up attending church, so sometimes it’s hard keeping up with our Sunday School classes and such.  I have found Book-By-Book Printables to be very helpful to remind myself about the background of the books of the Bible.

Available as a PDF download, purchasers will find a page dedicated to each book in the Bible in this file.  On each sheet, you’ll find the proper name of the book, dates it was written, who wrote it, and many other fascinating tidbits and facts.  Famous verses and important points of the book are also listed.  This is such a wonderful and useful resource!

In our church’s community group, we are currently studying Romans.  I have found it helpful to flip through the Book-by-Book Bible Printables to the page on Romans to quickly remind myself of the background of the book.  As you can see below, the Romans sheet let me know that it’s the 6th book in the New Testament and was written by Apostle Paul around 56 AD.  The “Claims to Fame” were pretty cool to learn that Romans contains the most popular and famed salvation scriptures.

I’ve also let my kids flip through it and it has helped bring the Bible more to life for them by seeing more of the context of each book.  I’m very glad to have found this and will definitely be referencing it many times in the future.

If you’re interested in getting your own copy of the Book-By-Book Printables, head on over to Teach Sunday School and grab a copy.  Normally it’s available for $19, but currently it’s listed for only $9! With a purchase, you’ll receive the 66 at-a-glance reference sheets with one sheet for each book of the Bible.  This gives you unlimited printing rights for a household or for a single church!  This set would be perfect for a Sunday School class setting, especially for new believers. If you’re not satisfied, Teach Sunday School offers a 60 day money back guarantee.

I think it is really a great tool for us who wants to have a quick glance at the books of the Bible. That was amazing.
