Something to Stand For in Theaters NOW! (Plus Giveaway!)

I have a bunch of history lovers in my house.  When given the opportunity to watch Something to Stand For, we jumped at the chance!   This movie is a wonderful collection of real-life tales of American Heroes, all narrated by Mike Rowe!  You can buy tickets to see Something to Stand For in theaters starting June 27th!

Join America’s favorite storyteller on an epic journey to the heart of Washington DC. Drawing from his blockbuster podcast “The Way I Heard It,” this cinematic tour de force will take viewers to the frontlines of the American Revolution, World War II, the Civil Rights movement, and more.

This movie did not disappoint!  We all learned several things new about people in history.  I definitely recommend everyone give this a watch.  What a more perfect time to watch it than right before the Fourth of July.

Note: There was one part that required us to explain a bit about the anatomy of a bull and slang terms in relation to one of the stories.  My youngest son was a bit horrified about it, but I think he will recover 😉
