Strawberry Lime Good Girl Moonshine GGMS THMApple Cider Vinegar has so many benefits for us but it can be a little hard to get down.  Since we got limes and strawberries today in our Bountiful Basket, I decided to put them to work.  Here’s my newest favorite way to get in some apple cider vinegar.  I enjoy making my own good girl moonshine along with the Trim Healthy Mama lifestyle!  Don’t worry, there is no alcohol in this drink but it does have a little bit of a bite!  Hope you enjoy!Strawberry Lime Good Girl Moonshine

In a blender, combine strawberries, lime, ginger, sweetener, and water.  Blend until well blended.  Pour over ice and enjoy!

Strawberry Lime Good Girl Moonshine
Ingredients
  • 3 good size strawberries
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 2 tablespoons raw apple cider vinegar (I use Bragg’s)
  • 2 cups water
  • juice of 1 lime
  • sweetener to taste (I use 2 tsp Truvia)
Instructions
  1. Throw all ingredients in a blender and blend for 10-20 seconds or until well combined.
  2. Fill a quart size mason jar up with ice. Pour combined ingredients over the ice and enjoy!

Just the thought of drinking Apple cider vinegar makes me shiver, so I’m willing to try this! I’ll let you know. I don’t have any ginger, though. Will any other “spice” work?

I’m not sure. Ginger also has great health benefits and it goes well. It does give it a little bit of a bite.

Hey! Excited/scared to try GGMS..but this one looks like something I could handle… do you use fresh ginger or from a jar?

Can this be sipped all day? What “letter” is it? Do you use this in place of a meal or snack? Thank you! Can’t wait to try it!

It’s not recommended to sip all day since it does have strawberries in it. I would consider it a FP since it’s just a few berries, but again, there is a substance in it so not a sipper. I drink it with a meal or snack.

OK, and thank you so much for your quick response! Just came back from the store with the ingredients. I’ll have for a snack, later after dinner. I don’t have a dessert planned! 🙂
